Novak doesn’t rule out increase of ESPO’s throughput capacity after 2020

The Head of the Russian Energy Ministry Alexander Novak doesn’t rule out increase of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline’s throughput capacity after 2020. He reported to journalists at the briefing after the session of the Government that this would be connected with increase in raw material production, the Transport nefti writes.

Novak noted that the Cabinet’s decision provides for extension of the oil pipeline’s throughput capacity at the section to Skovorodino to 80 million tons per year, and at the section Skovorodino-Kozmino – to 50 million tons per year. Today their throughput capacity of the pipeline are 50 million tons and 30 million tons respectively.
