Russian Directorate-General for State Environmental Review approves project of construction of Shilovo 3 – Ryazan oil products pipelines

Giprotruboprovod has received the opinion of Russian Directorate-General for State Environmental Review. The results of the inspection of documentation for the Shilovo 3 - Ryazan oil products pipeline were found positive.

It is a part of the program "Reconstruction of main pipelines to increase the volume of transportation of oil products in the Moscow region". The project will ensure the supply of jet fuel to airports of the Moscow aviation hub in the amount of 2.5 million tons per year with the prospect of increasing to 4 million tons. At present, the supply of about 1.5 million tons of jet fuel per year, produced at the Moscow and the Ryazan refineries, is provided to the Moscow aviation hub via the Moscow ring oil products pipeline while the needs are about 4.2 million tons.
