Transneft to study possibility to increase oil supplies from Russian to China through Mongolia

Transneft offers to study the possibility to increase the oil supplies from Russia to oil-processing plants in the western part of China through Mongolia.

Transneft didn’t take part in the negotiations on the additional oil supplies from Russia to China and just now started to study the documents signed to define the logistics.

Different variants are under consideration, one of which is the railway deliveries of raw materials to the west of China through Mongolia. This variant has been used before – oil from the Samotlore was transported to the station of Meget and then to China by railway: 2 million tons of 7 million, which was supplied to Dajing, was transported through border crossing Zabaikalsk, and 5 million tons – through Mongolia.
