Oil dispatch from Ceyhan is 2,687 tankers

Since the start of oil dispatching by BTC on June 2 2006 and as on October 24 2014, the total dispatch from Ceyhan has reached 2,687 tankers. Oil dispatch from Ceyhan is 2.054 billion barrels.

BTC transports oil from the Azer-Chirag-Gyuneshli block and gas condensate from Shakh-Deniz in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea.

After closure of the corresponding agreement in July 2010, the pipeline transports Turkmen oil as well. They have the agreement about Kazakh oil transporting via BTC as well.

The daily capacity of BTC is 1.2 million barrels.
