In May, Russia reduced diesel fuel exports by 12.9%

In May, diesel fuel exports by Transnefteproduct system reduced by 12.9% to 1.704 million tons compared to 1.892 million tons in April, 2014. Russia reduced supplies to Hungary by 93.5% and to the Ukraine by 61.6% because in the end of April Transneft ceased Euro-3 diesel fuel exports via the Ukraine.

In April, the Economic court of the Rovno region acknowledged the property right of Transneft for the oil products pipeline being on the balance of PrikarpatZapadtrans but the General Prosecutor Office of the Ukraine contested the verdict. Until 2014, Russian diesel fuel supplies via the oil product pipeline were one of the major sources for filling in of the market sharing up to 25% of the total provision.
