Rosneft to test oil supplies from Skovorodino to Komsomolsk refinery

Rosneft will dispatch test oil shipments from Skovorodino (the Amur region) to the Komsomolsk refinery (the Khabarovsk region), the ITAR-TASS reports, referring to the Transneft’s Head Nikolay Tokarev.

“We agreed preliminary that their first shipment from Skovorodino to the Komsomolsk plant will be small (1-2 train sets of cars), - Tokarev said. – We will see how quality will be product from Skovorodino”.

“When we are convinced of its quality, we will make a decision on ways of supplies,” – he added.

According to the Trasnneft’s Head, today there are problems with quality of oil, supplied from Skovrodino to Komsomolsk.

Earlier Transneft offered Rosneft to use railway from Skovorodino for oil supplies to the Komsomolsk refinery.
