“Summa” and “Transneft” plan to close a deal on NMTP assets sharing at the end of 2014

The “Summa” group and “Transneft” plans to close the deal on the sharing of the assets of the “Novorossiysk sea trade port” OJSC (NMTP) at the end of 2014, a member of the Board of Directors of the “Summa” group, M. Shaydaev, said.

According to the schedule, the deal is to be over in December 2014, he said.

“Transneft” said that Mr. Shaydaev speaks about the event that there has been no decision from Government structures. There is no scheme of the division of NMTP as well as no final decision on its division. And consequently it is not about the schedule of events, the oil company said.

The President of the “Summa” group, A. Vinokurov, didn’t release the details of the deal: “We purchase their shares, they get some assets from the company”. Mr. Vinokurov didn’t answer the question whether the offer for the minority shareholders is presupposed by the deal.
