The Russian Government has allowed Rosneft to build oil refinery in Nakhodka

The Russian Government has allowed Rosneft to build an oil refinery in Nakhodka. Agreement was obtained for the construction of the sites for fuel production, not for oil chemicals as yet. The general contractor was chosen in 2011; it was Angarskneftechemproject. According to the corrected plans, the first stage will be launched not earlier than 2020. The projected capacity of 30 million tons is reduced to 12 million tons. Transneft is against the construction of the complex. It explains that oil supplies to the perspective plant needs the laying of a pipeline with length of 1,300 km that will lead to considerable expenses.
