Azerbaijan has renewed oil export by Baku-Novorossiysk route

Oil pumping by the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline recovers on July 22nd, is reported referring to the President of SOCAR, R. Abdullaev.

In June SOCAR shut down oil export by the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline. According to Mr. Abdullaev, the shutdown of oil supply by this pipeline was connected with the repair of oil refinery plants.

The accumulated oil was loaded into the BTC pipeline. Now all pipelines are in working mode. We can export oil by any route, he said.

In H1 SOCAR exported 678.05 thousand tons of oil by Baku-Novorossiysk, by 33.4% more than in H1 2014 (508.22 thousand tons).
