Federal Tariffs Agency agrees to raise tariffs of Transneft from Jan 1st 2015

The Federal Tariffs Agency suggests raising Transneft’s tariffs from Jan 1st 2015 by about 5.4%, is said in the order of the Federal Tariffs Agency.

The company asked the Agency about it on July 16th sending an official request. And the Federal Tariffs Agency seems to agree with Transneft. The indexation asked by the company, according to the chairmen, corresponds to the growth of oil transportation tariffs, which is stated in the Government order as of March 14th 2014 (approximately by 90% of the forecast inflation rate).

The tariffs for oil pumping via the ESPO are suggested being raised by 6% by the Federal Tariffs Agency so that to launch the mechanism of gradual cancellation of cross-subsidizing of the eastern direction of transportation on the account of the western direction by 2025. The head of Transneft, N. Tokarev, thinks the amount of subsidies will equal to 37 bln roubles.
