Transneft and Summa can divide Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port

The main shareholders of Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NMTP) – Transneft and the group Summa – negotiate on new configuration of their joint business. A variant that the pipeline monopoly will own or manage oil loading terminals of the port, and Summa will get dry cargo transshipment terminals is considered among others.

On Thursday, the Head of the pipeline company Nikolay Tokarev told journalists about these negotiations between Summa and Transneft. “Today we together with Summa consider variant where to go from here, because the configuration, which we and our partners in NMTP have, can’t work,” – the ITAR-TASS cites the top manager.
