Transneft dissatisfied with the quality of Russian oil

In 2012 Transneft stated that the quality of the oil pumped to the pipelines by Russian companies has worsened. In 2013 the tendency will remain, Transneft believes. To improve the situation, the company offers the government to solve the problem by means of deeper processing of high-sulfur oil at oil-refining plants in Central Russia and dilute Eastern deliveries with “problematic” oil.
