The constructors have completed the welding of stage 1 of Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline at Yamal. The preparations into hydraulic testing have started today;theyt will last until the end of July. The construction of the pipeline has lasted for over one year already. They work mostly in winter when the wetlands freeze through. They have welded 135 km of the linear pipeline, assembled over 4,000 supporters and laid on them over one half of the pipeline. They will complete the laying of the pipeline into the trenches at the underground divisions.
