The Oil – to "Transneft", the money – to "Summa".
The ongoing conflict over the last year between the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port shareholders (NCSP) - "Transneft" and the group "Summa" - can be resolved in the near future. As "the Kommersant" states, the NCSP assets should be divided into bulk ("Summa") and liquid ("Transneft"), which the latter will likely strip beyond the perimeter. But the parties still could not agree on the amount of compensation that the monopoly will pay to "Summa".
"Transneft" has offered the government a number of options for its further participation in the NCSP, including "the reduction of the share or the output", Nikolai Tokarev, the head of the monopoly, stated yesterday. He stressed that he admits the fact, that this particular scheme is selected as the optimal in resolving the NCSP share conflict between "Transneft" and Ziyavudin Magomedov’s "Summa". According to him, in the event of a positive decision by the Government the procedure may take several months. The government reported to "Kommersant" that they had not seen the proposal yet and were not ready to comment.
