Transneft to reconstruct system of oil sorting on Samara centre for 2 years

Transneft to modernize the station of oil mixing in Samara, where the streams are formed, diverging to the south - to Novorossiisk, to the west - to the countries of Eastern Europe and to the Novokuibyshev refinery by 2017. The purpose of the works is complete automation of the sorting process of "black gold" and restructuring of the system of control over the content of sulfur in oil, coming in different pipelines.
Until this year, the oil mixing in the Samara centre was held under the control of operator, who manually supply raw materials of different grades into the reservoir. In 2015, the introduction of automation of so-called compounding units began. In general, it is planned to build three such units in Samara.
