The equipment of Siemens at ESPO facilities breaks down. Transneft searches for a new partner

“We have faced absolutely outrageous facts when the equipment of Siemens, supplied to the facilities of ESPO recently, breaks down within a short period of time. Five of 20 powerful transformers and several electric motors fail to function,” president of “Transneft” N.Tokarev said in an interview to the magazine “Pipeline oil transport”. According to him, the terms of repair or replacement takes long time. “We can not agree with such kind of cooperation”, he said. The behavior of Siemens is very strange. “Such a giant is led by the nose by politicians,” Tokarev said. In summer the USA and the EU imposed sanctions against the Russian oil companies, inclusive of “Transneft”.
