Transneft interested in construction of oil terminals near Makhachkala

Transneft is interested in construction of oil terminals nearby the sea trade port of Makhachkala. It will negotiate with Sum group, the chief of the company N. Tokarev claims. The company is interested in obtaining of additional capacities at this coast of the Caspian Sea because oil production will increase at Kashagan in Kazakhstan, Turkmen oil is searching for the most logistically optimal scheme of access to the markets, and Transneft has closed a commercial agreement with Azerbaijan, with no political constituents that enables to be flexible in negotiations with the partners.
