Transneft is not going to reduce oil transporting via the Druzhba pipeline. The member of the management board of the company, I. Katsal says that the traditional directions, such as the Baltic Sea, the Black Sea and the Druzhba pipeline are a  priority concerning that Transneft earns $1.5 billion a year for oil transporting via Druzhba to Adamowo-Zastawa. Then oil is delivered for processing at oil refineries in Poland and Germany.  Last year the pipeline transported 50 million tons of oil, including 35 million tons via the northern branch and 15 million tons via the southern branch. Mr. Katsal says that they are going to perform capital repairs in the directions of Samara-Unecha and Samara-Lisichansk, and not going to perform them at Unecha-Polotsk and further to Mažeikių.
