Transneft redirects oil products from the Baltic to the ports of Russia

Transneft plans in the near future to redirect the oil products supply at the volume of 5.5 mln tons from the ports of Riga and Ventspils to the ports of Russia, the President of the company, N. Tokarev, said.

“In fact we have started to realize this order and today we see that about 5.5 mln tons of oil products can be shipped to the ports of Russia without any problems, without any additional steps, expenditure. We are already doing it”, Mr. Tokarev said.

In future it will be about the equal income. It is necessary to get the producers interested in coming to the Russian ports and leave Ventspils.
