Transneft is going to start work this winter on stage 3 of Zapolyarye – Purpe pipeline

~~Transneft is going to start in the winter the work for stage 3 of the Zapolyarye – Purpe pipeline. The Vice President of Transneft A. Sapsay reminds that in accordance with the governmental order, construction and launch of the Zapolyarye – Purpe pipeline objects will be performed within 3 stages completed correspondently in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The project is being actively realized now. They are building the objects of stages 1 and 2, and stage 3 will be started in winter.

Within stage 1, they have completed the construction of the transporting pipeline with diameter of 1,020 mm and total length of 132 km at the division of from Purpe oil pumping station to the 358 km mark. They have executed hydraulic testing, profile measuring and inner-pipe diagnostics of the linear part of the pipeline. In November, they are going to complete the construction along the route of a high voltage power line. They prepare the linear objects to the application of voltage and the execution of the precommissioning complex.
