Transneft completes welding of the half of the Kuyumba - Tayshet pipeline linear part.
OJSC "AK "Transneft" has finished welding in a string of 356.7 km of the Kuyumba - Tayshet main pipeline linear part. This is half of the total length of the pipeline, which will connect the fields of Krasnoyarsk region with the Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean (ESPO) transport system.
As "Transneft-Far East" reported currently 295.5 km of 356.7 km of the pipeline are laid and backfilled. The total length of the pipeline (excluding the mileage of the backup thread underwater crossings) will be 695.2 kilometers, including 506.4 km - on the territory of the Krasnoyarsk region (in the Evenk, Boguchansk and Nizhneingashsk areas) and 188.8 km - in the Irkutsk region.
The main part of the construction and installation work on the laying of the pipeline will be completed in Q2 2015. During the summer the hydraulic testing and pipe diagnostic tests of the parts of the laid pipeline with ultrasonic and magnetic inspection rounds will be held. Further work associated directly with the commissioning of the facility is planned. The overhead transmission line of 10 kV will be constructed, installation of structures of artificial protection of the pipeline will be made, landscaping and reclamation of the road will be held, as well as the installation of automatic and remote control, security and alarm systems.
