Transneft doesn’t rule out extension of Zapolyrie-Purpe oil pipeline to the Kara Sea, an official representative of the company, Igor Demin reported.

At the same time he noted that this is an issue of the future. However, there is understanding at the level of academic community that the oil-pipeline system will be claimed for fields of the Kara Sea, taking into account ice conditions in the region of future production.
