Transneft can enlarge the ESPO pipeline to over 80 million tons after 2020, the official representative of the company, I. Dyomin says. The enlargement of the pipelin'se capacity via laying of a parallel pipeline will reduce the accident risk at the Eastern export route. In the forecast for the period after 2020, they concern possible interest to the Eastern direction from the companies developing oil in Central and Western Siberia.
