From 2015, Transneft can redirect super-sulfurous oil to the East

The company has restored oil transporting via Tuymazy – Omsk – Novosibirsk route.
In 2014, Transneft is going to complete the actions aimed at the partial redirection of super-sulfurous oil to the Eastern direction. It will start operations under the new freight flow scheme from 2015, Interfax reports referring to the Vice President of Transneft, I. Katsal. In his opinion, the measure is fully reasonable from the economic and technological points of view. Transneft performs the action planned in 1970-s restoring oil transporting via Tuymazy – Omsk – Novosibirsk route. They are going to contract and reconstruction several pumping stations, the additional divisions of the linear part and looping. Quality won’t worsen due to small volume of the fuel. The growth in super-sulfurous oil accepting continues. In 2013, the system accepted 77 million tons of super-sulfurous oil, by 3 million tons more than in 2012. Growth has been 27 million tons in 10 years, and all super-sulfurous oil is localized in the west.
