Transneft is seeking the dividend compromise.

"Transneft" – is the only Russian state company, which was allowed by the government to gradually move to a new dividend policy according to international standards, defined with the basic parameters of the transitional payments scheme. Instead of sending 25 % of its net profit under IFRS to shareholders, in 2016 the monopoly is planning to calculate the dividends from the consolidated profit group gathered in the accounts of the parent company. The experts believe that by doing this "Transneft" is trying to balance the dividend yield between the shareholders without changing the statute, "the Kommersant" states.
