Oil transport operators of Russia, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland and Belarus want to found an association

Transneft, Traspetrol (Slovakia), Gomeltransneft Druzhba (Belarus), Przyjazn (Poland), MOL (Hungary) and MERO CR (Czechia) in Prague on December 11th 2014 signed a 4-party memorandum on the foundation of the Association of oil transport companies in Europe, is said on the website of the Russian company.

According to the advisor to the President of Transneft, I. Demin, the initiator of the foundation of such an association was Czechia.

“The Association, or the so-called European pipeline club, will become a discussion site for the pipeline companies of Europe and Kazakhstan”, the President of Transneft, N. Tokarev, said. The club is founded to contribute to coordinate the efforts on effective development of the oil transport systems of companies of the countries-participants.
