The government doesn’t support the idea on the sale of the shares of NCSP to Rosneft

The government is against the idea of the President of Rosneft Igor Sechin to sell the government’s stake in Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port (NCSP) to the oil company, Vedomosti reports with the reference to the sources acquainted with the situation.

In his letter to Vladimir Putin of October 10th Sechin proposed privatization of 20% of NCSP by means of the target selling to Rosneft, referring to the fact that the oil company needed the coastal base for its shelf projects in the water area of the Black Sea. The Head of the oil company believes, NCSP is the suitable platform.
