Gazpromneft to be able to export 6 million tons of oil via ESPO within two years

In two years, Gazpromneft will be able to supply 6 million tons of oil per year to the ESPO oil pipeline under certain conditions, including the co-financing of the pipe’s capacity extension, Transneft’s Head Nikolay Tokarev reported to journalists.

Earlier the company asked Transneft to confirm the capacity of ESPO in the amount of 8 million tons per year for it. According to Tokarev,a lesser volume can be approved. “As far as I know, it is a question of 6 million tons within two years, but under certain conditions. Gazpromneft must accept these conditions and to fulfill them or not,” – he said, noted that the conditions include co-financing of the capacities extension.
