Zapolyarie-Purpe oil pipeline to be launched in 2016

The Zapolyarie-Purpe oil pipeline with capacity of 25 million tons of oil will be launched in 2016, said the governor of the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district Dmitry Kobylkin at the meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Zapolyarie-Purpe oil pipeline is an integral part of the Zapolyarie-Purpe-Samotlor oil pipeline system. The project will involve raw material of new deposits of the Yamal-Nenets autonomous district and the north of the Krasnoyarsk region. The project cost is estimated at 199.2 billion rubles.
