Transneft keeps oil parameters within the norm

The density and sulfur content of pipeline oil meets the commodity flow scheme agreed by the Ministry of Energy, the Vice President of Transneft I. Katsal says. In his opinion, it’s much more reasonable to analyze dynamics for the last 3-4 years, not only for the current year. For example, the sulfur content increased at the Primorsk direction from 1.28% in 2010 to 1.44% in 2014. Density remains within the borders of type 2.

Earlier the Vice Premier ,A. Dvorkovich was dissatisfied with presence of higher-than-normal sulfur content in the pipelines, he ordered to Transneft to work out before September 16th 2014 the point of oil flows re-distribution for the improving of oil the quality supplied to the Russian oil refineries.

A slight growth in the sulfur content, but inside the norm is fixed in oil dispatched via the port of Ust-Luga. In Kozmino, the sulfur content is stable at 0.5% within the last few years
