Transneft voices reasons of delay of launch of ESPO’s bend to Komsomolsk refinery

Transneft has sounded the reasons of the delay of the launch of the ESPO’s bend to Rosneft’s Komsomolsk refinery - they are connected, in particular, with the lack of definitive agreements with Federal Grid Company on energy supply to the pipe.

The bend is designed to cover the needs in the transportation of raw materials to the Komsomolsk refinery, located in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. Currently, most of the oil is supplied to the refinery by rail. Transneft assessed the construction of the pipeline to the Komsomolsk refinery at the 47 billion rubles.
