Transneft-Druzhba goes on the modernization of the Druzhba-1 oil pipeline.
In the framework of realization of the technical retooling and reconstruction program at the Kuybyshev-Unecha-Mozyr-1- Druzhba-1, in November 2015 the works on the repair and replacement of lock valve were held.
The repair of 4 valves was held at the Lopatino-Krasnoselki site, of another 4 valves- at the Kuznetsk oil pumping station.
Transneft added that 1 valve was replaced at the line operation dispatcher station Unecha-2 – at the Novozybkov-1 oil pumping station.
All 3 previously engaged valves were produced in Italy, in the framework of the modernization works they were replaced by lock valves of domestic production.
