Changes have been introduced to Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline; oil pipeline via the Taz will be laid under ground

Sibnefteprovod will apply underground mode of pipeline laying for the Zapolyarye-Purpe route at the Taz river with length of 27 km in the transit place. They were going to lay the division on abovewater bearers.
Zapolyarye-Purpe is a part of the Zapolyarye-Purpe-Samotlor transport pipeline that should connect Yamal and ESPO. The construction of Purpe-Samotlor with annual capacity of 25 million tons of oil and possible broadening to 50 million tons began in March 2011.
