In January – August, Belarus reduced oil imports from Russia by 0.5% to 14.878 million tons.

Russia reduced oil supplies to close abroad within the period by 22.9% to 14.895 million tons. Exports to Kazakhstan were 17,306 tons. Exports to far abroad reduced by 2.3% to 133.518 million tons. Transneft exported to far abroad 132.050 million tons of the volume, including 118.666 million tons of Russian resources. Supplies omitting Transneft were 14.851 million tons.

The export statistics was influenced by the swap scheme of oil supplies to China via Kazakhstan.
