Novak: We to be able to extend ESPO for Rosneft due to increase of a tariff for the company

The financing of the extension of the ESPO oil pipeline for the additional supplies of oil by Rosneft may be carried out on account of an increased long-term pumping tariff for the state company, the Head of the Russian Ministry of Energy ,Alexander Novak reported to journalists.

On March 22nd, Rosneft signed an agreement with CNPC on the principles of crude oil supply to China that intended increase of oil supplies from the current year. The supplies will reach 31 million tons per year at their peak. On May 14, the Rosneft’s Head Igor Sechin stated that the company wouldn’t directly finance the increase of capacities and intended to pay for the transportation according to economicly reasonable tariffs.
