Oil transportation tariffs by ESPO and ESPO-2 to be indexed by 7.5%

The services of Transneft on oil transportation by the route oil pipelines it is planned to index in Jan 2015 taking into account the expected inflation level. The tariff growth will be differentiated dependent on the route – in the eastern direction (ESPO and ESPO-2) it should rise by 7.5%, in the western –by 6.75% only, Transneft-Far East Ltd said.
The higher rates of tariffs rise for oil pumping by the ESPO and ESPO-2 are connected with the necessity of the gradual cancellation by 2025 of the cross-subsidizing of the eastern direction of oil transportation on the account of the western.
