ALROSA doubled income under IFRS in Q1

The net income of “ALROSA” under IFRS, the world leader on diamond production, made up 49.9 billion roubles in Q1, 2016 (+2.2 times y-o-y), runs the company’s statement.
The net cash flow reached 59.9 billion roubles due to a significant growth of the volume of realization of diamonds. The revenue increased by 37% in Q1, 2016 and made up 102.3 billion roubles.
The growth of revenue was due to an improvement of diamond market condition, which contributed to an increase of diamond sale by 34%, according to the company.
