Mechel reduced coal mining by 2%, steel production – by 3% over 9 months

On the results of January-September 2016 Mechel extracted 17.09 mln tons of coal, by 2% lower than in January-September 2015. Steel output fell by 3% to 3.1 mln tons, the company reports.
