Metalloinvest: the share of shipment to the domestic market is up to 31%

In July-September 2015, the metallurgical plant “Ural Steel” (Metalloinvest) smelted 0.3 million tones of steel (+24.9% compared to Q2, 2015). The growth in production volume is due to an increase of loading of CC machine-1 and CC machine-2 owing to an increase in demand, as well as the planned reduction of the time of the repair operations, according to the company’s quarterly report.
The volume of steel production in the Oskolsky electrometallurgical works made up 0.9 million tons. It is equal to the previous quarter. In Q3 the enterprises of “Metalloinvest” smelted 1.1 million tons of steel (+5.2%).
