“Mechel” agrees about debt restructuring with state banks

“Mechel” has agreed to restructure its debt with the key creditors-Gazprombank, VTB and Sberbank, Reuters reports citing a statement of the chairman of the Board of Management of Gazprombank A.Akimov.
“All three state banks agreed on a that two year break and they can work it,” he said and added there are some final agreements left.
Gazprombank will not redeem the debt ofy “Mechel” to Sebrbank, as the last of major creditors also agreed on the terms of restructuring with the company.
A source, close to Sberbank stated that hey currently continue the negotiations and the final aggremnet has not been reached so far.
