CherMK to increase production of 0.8-2.5 mm hot-rolled strips in coils

The Cherepovets metallurgical plant (enterprise of the division Severstal Russia Steel) hopes to increase the volumes of hot-rolled strips production of 0.8-2.5 mm thickness in coils at the mill -1700. Aiming for that the enterprise modernizes the equipment of the mill, in particular, reconstructs the cooling system, the company’s press service reports.
The investment amount into the project is about 55 mln roubles. In the process of its realization 80% of the old equipment will be replaced.
