In August, the Ukraine reduced coal production by 1.7 million tons

In August, the Ukraine reduced coal production by 1.7 million tons to 2.2 million tons, compared to 3.9 million tons in July, the express release of the State Statistic Commission for 2014 reports.

In January – August, the state extracted 35.2 million tons of black coal, by 85.8% less than within the corresponding period of the previous year. In August, coal yield reduced by 60%.
