MMK produces 2 million tons of non-ferrous metals

The two color coating lines of MMK have produced 2 million tons of metal products since their implementation.
As reported by the press service, the first aggregate was launched on July 16, 2004. The 200 thousand tons unit was developed by VOEST-ALPINE and has become one more part of the technological chain consisting of the previously fulfilled investment projects: The CC-machine of the LD plant, the reverse mill of the rolling mill #5 and continuous hot-dip galvanizing unit of the coating department. In August 2005 the aggregate produced its 100th ton of the products.
