Ukraine increased coal resources by 4% by May 2015

Coal reserves at the storages of TPPs of the Ukraine increased up to 731.53 thousand tons within the period from April 22 to April 29, 2015. Coal reserves increased by 28.07 thousand tons.
According to the statement by Ukrenergo, coal resources decreased from 252.06 thousand tons to 195.06 thousand tons. There operated 31 coal blocks and 4 buildings of the TPPs of the generating companies, 5920 MW of total capacity, as of April 28, 2015.
