In 2013, Kazakhmys increased copper concentrate production by 3.3% to 316,200 tons, and cathode copper production by 0.6% to 294,000 tons. The enterprise made 107,500 ounce of gold (-16.7%), 14.348 million ounce of silver (+13.5% at the expense of enlargement in the coefficient of extraction and processing of raw materials in excess to industry norms), and 134,100 tons of zinc concentrate (-11.5%). Ore extraction increased by 4.5% to 39.191 million tons. The index increased at the expense of enlargement in production at the mines of Konyrat and Nurkuzgan.
