In January-August Kazakhstan increases gold production by 16.7%.

In January-August 2015 the enterprises of Kazakhstan produced 20,106 tons of refined gold, which is 16.7% more than in the same period last year, the output of refined silver increased by 45.7% to 857,219 tons, according to the Republican Statistics Agency.
Production of semi-finished and raw or powdered gold was 39,318 tons (a 24.4 % increase), silver – 858,82 t (a 45% increase).
