In January 2016, the oil production, including gas condensate, in the Sakhalin region amounted to 1.6 million tons, which is by 11.9% more as compared to January 2015. This was reported by the press centre of the regional government on February 29, 2016.
The gas production remained at the level of January 2015 and made up to 2.6 billion cubic meters.
