Krasny Oktyabr puts electric furnace No7 on full-time operation

In the near future the Volgograd Metallurgical plant “Krasny Oktyabr” is about to switch the electric furnace No7 from double shift mode to twenty-four-hours operation. The project is aimed at the provision of the enterprise by nickel chrome stainless steel by low-tonnage lots.
“An annual project capacity of the electric furnace No7 makes up 10 000 tons. There started operation on the development of the infrastructure of the area of the furnace with the reconstruction of the main and auxiliary equipment.
