New copper deposit discovered in the Primorsk region

A medium-size copper-porphyry deposit,the Lazurnoye has been discovered in the Primorye Territory, the head of the Department on Subsoil Usage in the Primorsk region, Mikhail Popov reports.
A preliminary estimate of resources allow us to hope for presence of more than 1.5 million tons of copper and about 10 tons of gold there. Perhaps, the next year the deposit will be transferred for development.
