Since the beginning of the year, Beresitovy mine increased gold production by 6%

In the first nine months of this year, the gold mining company Berezitovy mine (Amur region), a part of the international company Nordgold, increased its gold production by 6% to 3 010 kg.

In the first nine months of this year, Berezitovy mine produced 96.8 thousand ounces (or over 3 tons), which is by 6% more than in the same period of the previous year (91.3 thousand ounces or 2 840 kg). This increase was primarily provided by the increase in gold content in the ore (by 2% to 2.24 g/t). The volume of gold, produced in the first nine months, in quarterly terms looks as follows: in the first quarter 2015 - 35.5 thousand ounces, in the second quarter 2015 - 31.8 thousand ounces, and in the third one - 29.5 thousand ounces.
